1.1 The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to let you know what kind of information Mi Health Services (ABN 36 678 815 622) and our Related Bodies Corporate (“Mi Health Services”, “we”, “us” and “our”) may gather about you when you visit our website or register to become a member, and to inform you how we comply with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including the Australian Privacy Principles. Please note that some of our Related Bodies Corporate may have different functions or specific legal requirements, and they may have separate privacy policies (in which case, this Privacy Policy will not apply to those entities).   • “Member” means a person or organization who establishes or seeks to establish an Account with Mi Health Services;

  • “Privacy Act” means the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), as amended from time to time;

  • “Site” means the mihealthservices.com.au website, including all subpages;

  • “Terms of Use” means the agreement between Mi Health Services and each Member which sets out the terms and conditions in respect to the services provided;

  • “User” means a Member or Visitor; and

  • “Visitor” means an individual who visits and browses the Site but does not create or seek to create an Account.

  • Members, including Clients and Support Workers, as well as other third parties who register as Members.

By submitting Personal Information through our Site (including when you register yourself or another person as a Member), you agree to the terms of this Policy on your own behalf or on behalf of the person whose information you are submitting, and you expressly consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of that Personal Information in accordance with this Policy.

5.1 The information Mi Health Services collects about you depends on how and why you access our Site and use our services.

5.2 We collect Personal Information and anonymous data, as described below.

 

Information You Provide to Us:

  • If you are a Support Worker, we will collect Personal Information from you, including but not limited to your first and last name, birth date, driver’s licence number, certification to work with vulnerable people, screening check results, criminal history, ethnicity, gender, religion, email and mailing address, phone number, work experience, and bank information for payment processing.

  • If you are a Client requiring Care Services, we will collect your first and last name, birth date, driver’s licence number, gender, email and mailing address, phone number, care services needed, health conditions, and credit card information for payment processing.

  • For other Members, similar Personal Information will be collected as outlined above.

 

Sensitive Information: We may collect sensitive information (including health or genetic information) when provided voluntarily by Clients or Support Workers.

Other Ways We May Collect Personal Information:

  • We retain information on your behalf, such as files and messages that you store using your Account.

  • If you provide us with feedback or contact us, we will collect your name and email address.

  • We also collect information you provide in messages or content uploaded to our Site.

 

Information Collected via Technology: To enhance your experience, we may collect information about your device and usage patterns, including IP addresses and browser types. We use cookies to identify you and improve site functionality.

6.1 General Use: We may use Personal Information to:
